Elite Muzik Interview with DJ Yrs Jerzy
Today Boss-man Eternity hit up the homie DJ YRS JERZY for an Exlcusive interview, in the interview they discuss things such as how he 1st started, what goals he’s looking to meet this year and more, check the full interview after the jump
DJ Eternity: So where are you from?
DJ YRS JERZY: I’m from Jersey City,NJ but i currently live in Charlotte,NC to focus on music. I have been working alot and i feel like me moving down south was a great thing that happened to me because i have alot more focus out here
DJ Eternity: How is Charlotte compared to living in jersey?
DJ YRS JERZY: Charlotte is alot more quiet and slow paced i feel like i have a New Jersey mentality to where i get plenty of things done in so little time. People move alot slower in Charlotte but i think that it gives me an advantage to takeover and go harder than everyone.
DJ Eternity: how old were you when you 1st got involved with music?
DJ YRS JERZY: I started to take my career seriously around two years ago when i was 17. I decided that if i really wanted to make it i would have to put in all the time and effort in to my career.Alot of people also don’t know that i’m 19 i just like to stay on my grind and not worry about what people have to say.
DJ Eternity: what age did you officially start djing?
DJ YRS JERZY: I officially started to try to DJ at 16 i was developing a passion for music heavily around that time. I just loved everything about DJing i feel like DJing is just one of those things i will always be doing. The main people i respect as DJs are Funk Master Flex and DJ Drama they took DJing to a whole new level. I aspire to do the same thing one day.
DJ Eternity : what style of music were you into growing up?
DJ YRS JERZY: I mainly Rock with Hip-Hop, Reggae and Dance-hall
DJ Eternity : who do you wish to work with in the future?
DJ YRS JERZY: I’d like to work with Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Drake
DJ Eternity : how do feel about the current state of hip-hop?
DJ YRS JERZY: I feel like it can be a lot better if cats were more creative, we hear to much of the same type of music, niggas need to do something different
DJ Eternity: who are your top 3 favorite rappers?
DJ YRS JERZY: My Top 3 would have to be Drake, A$AP Rocky and SchoolBoy Q, and don’t there’s anyone else out right now who are doing it the way they are
DJ Eternity: are you currently working on any projects?
DJ YRS JERZY: Yes, We Just dropped the Beats For Trap 2 with producer Lex Gunna, the 9/11 project with Chox-Mak, and J-Paq’s Lossing My Self mixtape which were currently in the studio working on
DJ Eternity : what do you plan to accomplish this year?
DJ YRS JERZY: i plan to work with a lot more artist, producers and anyone else who rocks me
