Introducing…. Folly Rae

Folly Rae is a Norwegian singer songwriter based in Hertfordshire, UK. Folly started writing poetry 4years ago that became songs after an emotional split with her then boyfriend. she grow up listening to Motown, country and classical music, but her love for folk music started once she discovered the music of Canadian singer Joni Mitchell, she’s also influenced by other artist such as Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, Ellie Goulding a few others, Her debut EP ‘My Enemy’ is a culmination of her relationship experiences sonically. her latest record “Free Your Mind” is the first official single from the EP which is due out in April of this year, you can give the track a listen right after the jump
