The Long Fall is singer-songwriter Amy Rieckelman’s folk/ pop vision of life, love, and the bittersweet. Born in Idaho, Amy grew up between the Western and Mid-Western states, a part Twin Peaks and The Breakfast Club existence. Living first in small towns, then Chicago, and finally Los Angeles, The Long Fall became the expression of a belief that no matter where we come from, or what soundtrack we set our lives to, our hopes and desires tend to mirror each other’s. And whether it’s a season, or a love, there is a longing for The Long Fall.
The Long Fall’s self-titled EP was Produced by Jason Hill (Louis XIV, The New York Dolls, and composer on “Mind Hunter” set to premiere on Netflix this October) at his Laurel Canyon- based Ulysees recording studio, and engineered by Brent Puls (Cataline), Stefano Bonzi, Justin Sconza (Walter Meego), & Anthony Polcino (Beat Club) in studios across Los Angeles, TLF features instrumental and vocal performances by Hill, Puls, Sconza, Polcino, Billy Harvey, & Jon Pancoast.
