Island Twins – Lying In State

Here’s something brand from an indie rock band by the name of the Island Twins, the band was formed in early 2011 in Queens, New York. Starting as a recording project for singer and guitarist, Erik Brauer, Island Twins quickly turned into a full-fledged band with the addition of his sister, Meagan Brauer, on bass, and friend Tony Del Cid on the drums. Together, they continue to make fuzzy pop songs filled with catchy melodies and bouncing bass lines reminiscent of the Elephant 6 collective of the late 90s, thie record is the very 1st single off their upcoming self titled album dropping May 1st, it’s titled “Lying In State”
