A lot of talk is coming out of Hollywood about an angelic new pop singer who came out and tore down the famous Hotel Cafe a couple weeks ago. The singer with the beautiful voice that everyone is talking about is none other than Switzerland’s pop singer Mané. With so much hype around her Hotel Cafe performance, Mané capitalizes on her attention with the release of her acoustic version of new song, “Sacred Place”.
Directed by up-and-coming film maker Mei Fa Tan. Mané belts out a powerful vocal performance behind a three-part acoustic band. Her angelic sound can bring one to feel the presence of the song and draw one to tears listening to the story within the lyrics. A brief history of the singer/songwriter, Mané was born in Switzerland, she weaves songs of love, loss, strength and self-empowerment with a mysterious edge and vulnerability. Recognized for her talent at age 6, Mané began performing regularly, composing and writing songs with her raw sensitivity, reflecting the maturity of a singer/songwriter well beyond her years. Gracing the stage at Switzerland’s hippest music venues, Le Bleu Lézard, Le Bourg, as well as music festival Fest’Hivers, Mané garnered attention from industry professionals, resulting in a bold move to London where she studied at The Tech Music School while receiving awards for her songwriting as well as performing at London’s APT 58, Richmix, The Queen’s Head, Seven Dials Club and O2 Sheperd’s Bush Empire. Speaking on her music, “Singing allows me to be authentic and as free as possible. My songs are designed to inspire people to dream, be courageous, follow their gut, and love & celebrate themselves with both their light and shadowy parts.”
