Michael Jackson Wanted A “Gone” Duet with Justin Timberlake

on

As the release of Michael Jackson’s new posthumous album XSCAPE nears, we’ve heard many stories come out about the late-great king of Pop. On Tuesday Justin Timberlake did an interview with OWN TV where he spoke about the track “Gone”,which Justin originally wrote for Michael Jackson back in 2001, but his camp turned it down. Later on MJ actually listened to the record and wanted to record it as a duet with Justin, but by then the track was already pitched as an *NSYNC single and lived on the groups last album. Justin asked Michael if he would do it as a feature with *NSYNC but he declined to work with the rest of the group he just wanted to work with JT.
