Nyah Grace is a 17-year singer who relocated from Oregon to London. Growing up Nyah was exposed to music from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Estelle, Billie Holiday, D’Angelo and Ella Fitzgerald.
Kicking off her Elite Muzik debut the talented newcomer shares her newest offering “Black Coffee,” the third full song that she ever wrote, while at the young age of 14.
Speaking on the single Nyah says:
“I started writing it about a friend who I stopped being friends with,” she recalls. “It could be interpreted as being about a boyfriend, but it’s mostly about growing apart in a relationship. You’d like for there not to be that distance between you, but little things like black coffee remind you of them.”
