Richard Raw “Public Enemy”

The homie Richard Raw drops off his latest offering “Public Enemy” below is what he had to say about the record

“ The song Public Enemy was written in the spirit of arguably the greatest group in the history of rap music.  Public Enemy revolutionized the sound of rap music with their conscious lyrics, militant stance and innovative production style.  After listening to several hits from the group, i decided to create a song that touched on a myriad of issues dealing with our community.  Hip Hop needs a “Cultural Maintenance Component” and i am doing my best to play my part by making people aware of the uphill battle we face in this corporate controlled industry.  Its time for our culture to address real issues by using our art as a tool for social change.   We must “Fight The Power” because three decades later, we as rap artist are still viewed as a Public Enemy!” - RR
