New York Pop duo Loote pay homage to dependable friends on “Out Of My Head”
New York-based pop duo Emma Lov and Jackson Foote, collectively known as Loote, make their Elite Debut. The duo met back in College when they were paired together for an assigment in songwriting class. The two began writing songs together officially through a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group, since then the duo have continued to collaborate on new material such as the single “High Without Your Love.” Last month the duo released their new single “Out Of My Head,” a single dedicated to that person you can always lean on when dealing with a rough situation.
Emma and Jackson speak on the new single: “The song is an emotional roller coaster. It’s about being stuck and weird and feeling like you can’t get out of your own crazy. And it’s an ode to that one person or thing you can rely on; you like that they get you out of that shit. The chorus is this celebratory moment that’s kind of a ‘thank you’ to them. “
